stalk borers attacking our sorghum
We are suspecting that the worm pictured above that had invaded our sorghum field is a member of the stalk borer family. The borer is found always inside the stalk and only one per plant. We are currently thinning out all the affected plants destroying them, hoping that this is the second flight and therefore second generation of the season and the crop have great chance to servive after this,However we are still waiting for experts to advise.
